How Onward & Forward Came to Be

The story behind the work and the people I serve

Many leaders reach a point where what once fit no longer does—and what’s next is still coming into view. Onward & Forward was born in that in-between space.

After nearly a decade designing coaching programs, advising senior leaders, building systems, and guiding teams through change, I found myself re-evaluating everything. Becoming a parent made that shift undeniable. My time, energy, and priorities had to reflect what really mattered—because work had to be worth the time spent away from what mattered most..

Work had to be worth the time spent away from what mattered most.

That season clarified what I could no longer ignore: fulfillment isn’t a luxury—it’s essential for sustainable leadership. In the quiet that followed, a blind spot revealed itself. The work I was drawn to, the way I supported others, and how I naturally led—it had been there all along. I just hadn’t recognized it as enough. I had already become the person I thought I needed permission to be.

But Onward & Forward didn’t start as a business. It began as a rallying call—something I used to say to my team during setbacks or uncertain moments.

“Onward and forward,” we’d remind ourselves—not to avoid challenge, but to face it with resolve and heart, together. Over time, it became more than a phrase. It became a mindset.

Today, Onward & Forward is the full expression of my experience, strengths, and calling—and it’s not just about or for me. It’s the sweet spot where the work that fulfills me also makes a real difference for others.

Whether I’m coaching a leader through transition, helping a team resolve what’s unspoken, or partnering with an organization to build something new, I show up with presence, precision, and care.

This is the work I was meant to do—and I’m honored to walk alongside others as they step into what’s next, too.

The work that fulfills me also makes a real difference for others.

Who I Work With

I work with thoughtful, growth-minded people navigating change, challenge, or opportunity.

Some are new to leadership. Some are seasoned executives. Some are individual contributors rethinking what’s next. What they have in common isn’t a title—it’s a desire to lead with more intention, clarity, and impact.

You might be:

  • Stepping into a new role or leading for the first time

  • Building confidence and visibility as a leader

  • Navigating interpersonal or team dynamics

  • Brilliant, technically sharp and want to deepen emotional intelligence or relational impact

  • Preparing for greater influence—or reclaiming your sense of purpose

  • Deeply capable, but unsure how to show up as your best self at work

Whether you’re figuring out what’s next or ready to level up with support, I help people move forward—clearer, stronger, and more grounded in who they are.

If this sounds like you—or someone you’re supportingI’d love to connect.

Whether you’re exploring support for yourself, your team, or someone you’re referring, let’s talk and see if it’s a good fit.
